VISITAS SOLIDARIAS AL OLIVO

This educational programme allows groups at risk of social exclusion to gain access to the rural world of Andalusia, in particular the olive growing sector. Thus, through an activity which combines fun with education, those taking part discover olive harvesting and olive oil production processes, comparing traditional methods with more innovative ones.

Through this initiative, funded by the Obra Social La Caixa, around 1.960 people from 26 different associations that help groups such as dysfunctional families, children at risk of social exclusion and people with disabilities have taken part since 2013 in the activity carried out at the foundation’s headquarters, the Hacienda Guzmán.
